Summer Blooms 2

My blooming baskets are doing well.  They have become a riot of color this last week.  I've a passion for blooms, so here's a few cheerful pix:

These geraniums are not the traditional red you see most of the time, but more a magenta???

Isn't this a gorgeous blue!

These miniature petunias are very popular and come in all colors.

  These fuchsias are quite large...

The white petunia is normal size...gives you an idea of the side of the miniatures

I managed to catch some dew drops on this white petunia.

I hope you enjoyed my 'garden of blooms'.
Until next time, MO

Summer Blooms I

It seems that summer arrived properly on the July long weekend here on Vancouver Island.  We've had sun, sun, sun and that is just what my flowering plants needed.  We haven't had a drop of rain in 9 days! Here are some pix of my blooms that I took today.

Let's start with the two urns out front.  They really brighten up the front door entrance.

Both urns are in semi shade and have pretty much both grown at the same rate...that's a good thing.

The little pink rosies are so cute!  They are very happy. :)

Right now as I write this, the eagles are driving me bananas.  They (4 adults and 3 young ones) are chattering and squawking and it's just a cacophony of eagle language out there.  Shut up already...I want to slap their beaks!  They were also doing that around 5-5:30 a.m. this morning! Majestic they may be, but right now they are not so endearing!  But in truth, I would really miss them if they were not there.

I will show you my blooming baskets in my next post, until next time, MO
